Webjet Instagram Competition: WIN 1 of 5 $1,000 Webjet eGift Cards & Pacific Airshow tickets (five winning entries)

Terms & Conditions

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into this competition is deemed to be acceptance of conditions. Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd, of Level 2, 509 St Kilda Road, Melbourne, Victoria 3004, is the Promoter (“Promoter”) and reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time without notice. 
  2. The Competition ("Competition") is open to legal residents of Australia, who have reached 18 years of age (or in the event that a winner is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded if the consent of his or her legal guardian is first given and obtained) as of the beginning of the Competition Period, and who are not an employee of or domiciled with an employee of the Promoter or its affiliated companies, their advertising and promotional agencies. No purchase is necessary. Multiple entries per entrant are permitted, however entrants are only able to win once. The Competition is subject in all instances to compliance with applicable law. 
  3. The Promoter will collect and use each entrant’s personal information for the purposes of:
    • Conducting the Competition (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the Competition) and for promotional purposes, public statements and advertisements in relation to the Competition;
    • Providing information about the products and services offered by the Promoter and its related companies and its affiliated retailers; and
    • Research to improve its products and services. 
  4. By entering the Competition, entrants consent to the use of their personal information.
  5. The Competition Period runs from 14th May, 2024 at 11:00 AEST to 27th May, 2024 at 23:59 AEST ("Competition Closing Date"). 
  6. The Competition will be run on Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd official Instagram account.
  7. The rules of The Competition and how to enter are as follows:

  8. Following the conclusion of the Competition, Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd will select five (5) winners, based on the criteria of the most creative submissions. The competition draw will take place on Wednesday 29th May, 2024, 3pm AEST. In the event that a winner is unable to fulfil the prize, a substitute may be nominated by Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd to take the place of that winner. The winner will be notified by an Instagram direct message on 5th June 2024. The winner will also be published on webjet.com.au/travel-toolbox/competitions/. The winner must claim their prize by 12th June 2024 with travel completed by 12th June 2027. Three attempts will be made to contact the prize winner prior to the redraw. In the event of the prize being unclaimed by Wednesday 16:00 12 June 2024 AEST, further draw/s will take place to determine replacement winner. The draw will take place for the replacement at the offices of Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd on Thursday 15:00 13 June 2024 AEST. The replacement winner will be notified by Instagram direct message on the same day.
  9. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  10. There are five (5) winners who will each receive a prize of one (1) $1,000 Webjet eGift Card and two (2) 3-day General Admission tickets to the Pacific Airshow (“Main Prize”) held on the Gold Coast 16 - 18 August 2024. 
  11. The Main Prize is subject to the following restrictions: 
    • Webjet eGift Cards will take 72 hours to activate, and will not be redeemable for 72 hours after the date of issue.
    • eGift Cards may be redeemed at webjet.com.au on desktop, mobile and app.
    • eGift Cards have a validity of 3 years from the date of issue.
    • eGift Cards are not redeemable for cash and are not refundable.
    • Webjet is not liable for any lost or stolen Gift Cards, except to the extent to which the loss or theft is due to negligence by Webjet or an affiliated Gift Card seller. The Gift Card holder is solely responsible for the use and safe storage of the Gift Card and is liable for all transactions paid using the Gift Card. Lost or stolen Gift Cards will not be replaced or refunded.
    • The Main Prize is valued at AUD$1,200 each for five (5) entries, total prize pool of AUD$6,000.

    • 3-Day Adult General Admission Passes to the Pacific Airshow on the Gold Coast includes:
      • Unreserved beach access
      • Fully immersive announcer sound
      • Be close-up in the action at the waters edge
      • Access to nearby food & drink stands (additional costs apply)
      • Access to bars (additional costs apply)
      • Access to nearby restrooms
    • Attendees are able to BYO chairs, blankets, and umbrellas
      • Pop-up tents and marquees are not permitted into the Airshow

  12. Entries must not have been published previously or used to win prizes in other competitions. An entry cannot be modified after it has been submitted.
  13. Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd reserves the right, at any time, to request verification of the age, identity, email address, phone number, residential address or any other information relevant to participation in the Competition of all entrants. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who provides false information or fails to provide information that is reasonably requested by the Promoter. 
  14. Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse to accept entries which are incomplete, indecipherable, offensive, do not comply with these terms and conditions or which contravene any applicable laws or regulations. Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who has breached any of these terms and conditions, has engaged in unlawful or improper conduct or otherwise acts to cheat or undermine the fairness of the Competition by, for example, tampering with, or using or exploiting errors in, the entry process to obtain a competitive advantage over other entrants.
  15. The eligibility of entries is solely within the discretion of Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd. 
  16. Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for late, lost, misdirected or damaged entries or other communications.
  17. Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd will provide each winner with instructions on how to claim their Prize. It is the responsibility of each winner to comply with the Promoter’s instructions. The prize will be delivered to the winner via email at the conclusion of the Competition by 21st June 2024. 
  18. The winner is responsible for paying all additional or ancillary costs associated with the prizes that are not specifically included (as stated above), including (where applicable) flights, accommodation, spending money, meal costs, additional transport, insurance, passport and visa requirements and all other incidentals. 
  19. The prize is not transferable to other persons or organisations. If a prize or receipt of it incurs a tax liability, the relevant prize winner is liable for payment of such tax. All parts of the Main Prize must be taken together. 
  20. Subject to the State legislation, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize in whole (or any of its components), with a substitute prize of equal or greater value and the prize winner will be notified accordingly. 
  21. Neither the Promoter nor any other person or party associated with the Promotion shall be liable for any delayed, lost or misdirected mail, email or other communication. Further, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes liability for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or any website, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this promotion. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid. 
  22. Neither the Promoter nor any other person or party associated with this promotion shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to direct, indirect, consequential or economic loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered, except for any liability that can not be excluded by law. 
  23. Upon acceptance of the prize, the winner agrees to provide reasonable cooperation to allow Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd to use their name and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes in connection with this Competition, including but not limited to, the publication of their name and photograph on the Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd websites. 
  24. Offer can be withdrawn or adjusted at any time without notice.
