The Statue of Liberty
This iconic statue is situated in New York Harbour and is considered a National Monument. It stands an impressive 92.99 metres from the ground to the tip of the elevated torch. Empire State Building
The Empire State Building is another of New York’s must-see landmarks. This huge building is described as “the world’s most famous office building” by its official website, and stands 1,453 feet tall in central Manhattan. Visitors can enter the building and travel to the 86th floor observatory for unrivalled views of New York City.
Central Park
A visit to Central Park is a must on any New York itinerary. The park is a huge 843 acres large, of which 150 acres is taken up by water, such as lakes. Around 40 million people visit Central Park each year, which is a testament to its status as an important New York location! Here, you can simply stroll the picturesque grounds or take a ride on the famous Central Park carousel.
