As domestic travel restrictions begin to ease and travellers return to the skies, airlines are starting to progressively increase their domestic flying!

To help you find the best options, below are the routes and schedules currently offered by Qantas, Virgin Australia, Jetstar and Rex. You can also cherry-pick between flights from these airlines by using Webjet's Mix & Match. Each route map outlines which services are operating daily, and those that are yet to return to normal frequency.

Jetstar

As restrictions ease, Jetstar will increase their flying in June and July 2020, servicing mainly capital cities and some regional destinations. 

Further flights will be added in July 2020, in time for the school holidays as states open their borders. 

Daily flights are available for Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart, Adelaide and Brisbane. All other routes are operating on a limited schedule, refer to the below route map.

 

Qantas

Qantas forms part of the minimum domestic and regional network supported by the Australian Government.

Flights have been increased for travel between capital cities and to regional destinations, throughout June and July 2020. 

Refer to the below route map to see the destinations covered on Qantas' network. Daily services are available for Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane. 

 

 

Virgin Australia

 

Virgin Australia are now enabling more travellers to return to the skies, increasing its domestic flying until early July 2020. 

Daily flights are available for Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Sydney, and for these regional destinations to/from Brisbane: Rockhampton, Mackay, Cairns, and Townsville. All other routes are operating on a limited schedule, refer to the below route map.

 

Rex

Regional Express (Rex) will continue servicing regional towns and cities, operating 2-3 return services per week to most destinations on their network.
