If the flight you are travelling on is delayed and you are connecting to another service operated by the same airline (on the same booking reference), the airline should make the necessary arrangements to either alert the connecting service of the delay or place you on the next available flight. Please check with the airline direct if that will be the case.
If the flight you are travelling on is delayed and you are connecting to a different airline (all details created on the same booking), please check with the carrier as they should alert the other airline or arrange for you to be placed on the next available connecting flight.
If you are making an independent connecting booking in conjunction with another ticket that you have already purchased, we would recommend you give yourself at least 3 hours connection time. The airline will take no responsibility if they are delayed and you miss your connecting service.
The carrier recommends that clients booking an independent connecting service book a "flexible" ticket that allows last minute changes and is fully refundable. Alternatively, please check that your insurance policy would cover the cost of your connecting ticket should the flight arrive too late to connect.
