After searching flights at Webjet, selecting then reviewing your travel itinerary, you will reach the check-out section. Upon check-out you will be shown applicable payment options depending on the items in your itinerary.
Webjet accepts: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Visa Debit, MasterCard Debit and JCB.
Please Note: As of May 1 2015, Webjet will be removing 2 out of 3 reward payment options with American Express.
American Express Membership Rewards enrolees in the David Jones and Business Ascent tiers will no longer be able to use Membership Rewards points as payment on Webjet.com.au. Card Members may continue to redeem Membership Rewards points at www.americanexpress.com.au/travel We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Funds must be available at the time the booking is made. If funds are not available, ticketing will not take place and you may need to rebook. Webjet cannot guarantee that your original fares will still be available so rebooking may cost slightly more.
Car hire payments: Depending on the car hire company, payments are either prepaid at the time of booking, part-paid at the time of booking, or paid on arrival at the car rental depot on the day of pick up – details will be given during the booking. For Pre-Paid and Part-Paid bookings, the amount payable will be processed in EUR currency at the current exchange rate on the day of purchase (please note: exchange rates used by your credit card company may vary). For Pay on Arrival bookings, the amount payable will be charged to the credit card presented at the time of check-in the local currency (e.g. AUD in Australia).
Funds must be available at the time of booking as payment is required up front. If funds are not available you may need to rebook. Webjet cannot guarantee that your original price will still be available.
Exceptions to payments:
Tigerair, do not accept American Express or American Express Rewards points as a payment option. Scoot does not accept American Express Rewards Points.
Using someone else's credit card: You must have permission from the card holder to use their card. You can also use your credit card to make bookings for other people. Webjet reserve the right to carry out security checks when we feel it is necessary. This is a measure taken to protect Webjet and you, the card holder.
