Onboard your flight

Virgin Australia class types are split over two cabins: Business Class and Economy. Their classes have different inclusions and facilities. Discover which cabin class best suits your needs before your next flight:

• Economy Class
  Enjoy the value-for-money comfort and options of Economy class. If you are travelling for business or leisure, Virgin Australia's regular flights provide convenient and economical options. Economy guests travelling on domestic services will enjoy complimentary food, a selection of beverages and up to 23kg of checked baggage. Additional premium beverages, spirits and gourmet snacks can be purchased from Virgin Australia's retail menu. 
   
• Economy X Class
  Economy X offers a more premium experience at the airport and onboard, within the affordability of Virgin Australia's Economy class. Arrive ready having experienced enhanced benefits by adding Economy X to your booking including extra legroom, preferred overhead locker space, priority boarding and priority screening (where available).
   
• Business Class
  Business class guests experience second-to-none space and comfort, and exceptional inclusions. Virgin Australia's fully inclusive fare allows you to feel at home in their spacious Business class cabin; where you can relax in (or work from) your luxurious leather seat, and enjoy premium food and beverages from their exclusive onboard Business class menu. Onboard their Boeing 737 aircraft you will also enjoy a comfort pack**, containing a blanket and pillow, and stylish amenities*.
  
  Check in or drop your bag off at our Priority Check-in+ facility at the airport. If you are travelling with only carry-on baggage you can opt to check in at the Virgin Australia lounge instead. As a Business Class guest you are invited to board the aircraft first, or at your leisure. When departing from selected domestic airports, you may take advantage of a dedicated Priority Boarding lane (available at most gates). 

Entertainment

Selected Boeing 737 aircraft: Wireless In-flight Entertainment, a state-of-the-art system that provides you with access to hundreds of hours of movies, TV shows and music, all available on your own device. Before you fly, pack your headphones, charge your device and download the Virgin Australia Entertainment App. The Entertainment app is free to download and free to use.
