How do I access this and which flights are eligible?

No need to do anything. Same-day cancellation is automatically included for all eligible flights. Currently, all airlines excluding Jetstar, Scoot, Cebu Pacific and Air Asia are eligible. Flights cannot depart the same day of booking. Offer excludes multi-city, hotel, holiday package, motorhome and Things To Do bookings.

How do I cancel?

You can submit a cancellation request by contacting us on 1300 137 737 before 11pm AEDT on the same day for a full refund.

When do I have to book and cancel by?

Bookings must be made before 9pm AEDT. Cancellation requests must be submitted by 11pm AEDT on the same day.

Can I cancel part of my booking?

No, all passengers and all segments on eligible flights (Qantas, Rex or Virgin Australia domestic flights) will be cancelled. If a flight on your booking is not eligible, same-day cancellation will not be available. Normal change/cancellation rules will apply.

Can I make changes to my booking?

Any changes to dates or names are as per fare rules. Typically, these changes involve fees charged by the airline. We suggest using our same-day cancellation feature instead and then re-booking your travel.

When do I get my money back?

Funds will typically be returned to the original form of payment within 5-7 business days.

Are booking fees refunded?

Yes, if your flights are eligible for same-day cancellation, you meet cut off times and nothing else remains on your booking, booking fees will be refunded too.

How does this work with my travel insurance?

If you are using same-day cancellation, there is no need to submit any insurance claims for the cost of cancelling your flight. If you wish to cancel your insurance policy this is also possible by contacting Covermore directly during their cooling off period.
