Getting around
Toronto is easy to navigate due to the city’s strong grid street layout. Walking is a great way to get around and can be faster than driving through the city traffic. Toronto has a reliable public transport system, the TTC, that is easy to use. Fares are around $3 each way, or you can invest in a prepay PRESTO card that can be topped up in subway stations. Taxis are also available and easy to hail with standard, non-negotiable fares.Â

The best time to visit Toronto is during the summer months (between May and September) when the weather is slightly warmer. There are also many interesting festivals and outdoor events during these months.
