Once you arrive, you can catch a public bus from the airport to many resorts and large towns. Buses from Nausori Airport (SUV) offer both express and local services into Suva. The local bus makes five different stops in Suva, and tickets range between 70 cents to $1.90. The express bus costs $2 and takes you straight to the Suva Bus Station. You can also catch a bus to many other towns in the southern and eastern parts of Viti Levu.
If you prefer to take a taxi, there are taxi drivers who can take you into Suva and the various other towns in the eastern part of the island. A taxi into Suva takes a half hour and costs about $30.
And of course, if you are staying at an island off of Viti Levu, there are transportation options to get you there. From Suva, you can catch a variety of ferries, water taxis, seaplanes, and helicopters to your destination. Many hotels and resorts will help you arrange your transfer from Suva.
