Airport Information Between Brisbane (BNE) and Perth (PER)

Departing Brisbane Airport (BNE)

Brisbane Airport (BNE) is one of Queensland's busiest airports. Conveniently located just 22km from the Brisbane CBD, there are a number of transport methods at your service.

If you’re a on a budget, the cheapest way to get to Brisbane Airport is by bus; routes 569 and 590 run from the CBD every day. Looking for the quickest option? Jump on the SkyTrain from Brisbane’s CBD to the airport; a single trip will take 20 minutes and only set you back about AUD 15. Taxis and rideshare services such as Uber are also readily available in Brisbane, if that’s a more comfortable choice for you.

Driving yourself? Brisbane Airport has a number of parking options available:

Park Long: If you’re planning on leaving your car at the airport for longer than an hour, choose this option. The bays are close to both the domestic terminals and check-in counters.

Park Premium: If you wish to pay extra (for a bit of convenience), upgrade your parking to the premium option. Located on level 3 of the P1 Domestic car park, you’ll have exclusive access to express entry and exit ramps.

Park Valet: Another premium parking service offered by the airport for those who don’t want to waste time in the airport carpark. All you need to do is park your car in the valet area and one of the attendants will take care of the rest. 


Arriving at Perth Airport (PER)

The biggest airport in Western Australia, Perth Airport (PER) has four terminals for incoming flights, with Terminals 2, 3 and 4 reserved for domestic arrivals.

If you’ve flown in on Tigerair or Virgin, you’ll arrive in Terminal 2. If you’ve flown in on Jetstar or Qantas, you’ll arrive in Terminal 3 and Terminal 4 respectively.

Getting to the CBD from Perth Airport is quite convenient - only a 15 minute or so trip away. Perth Airport has a selection of transport options available to you, such as car hire, rideshare services, taxis and a bus. If you’re planning on catching the bus, Route 380 is your best bet from Terminal 2, and Route 40 is the bus for all Terminal 3 or 4 arrivals. To get into town quicker, you can also catch the more expensive express shuttle bus.
