Getting to Sydney Airport
The trip to Sydney Airport from the city CBD should take about 25 minutes in light traffic. The fare for a taxi or Uber can range between $45 and $55 AUD. The Airport Link trains run every 10 minutes out of Central Station. Opal Cards can be used to pay the $13 AUD fare. You can also take the Route 400 city bus to either Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 at the airport. Use your Opal Card to pick up the bus anywhere between Bondi Junction and Burwood. The major international airport in Osaka where most SYD flights land is Kansai International Airport (KIX). There is a secondary airport servicing the city, Itami Airport, however it mainly handles domestic traffic.

How to Get From Kansai International Airport to Your Osaka Hotel or Accommodation
Kansai International Airport is situated about 50 kilometres from central Osaka. Travelling by bus is the cheapest transit choice. Purchase a bus ticket from the vending machines stationed near the terminal exits and catch the bus from the departure point outside. The hour-long journey from KIX to the city centre will cost ¥1550 yen ($19AUD). If you take the train, you can arrive at Osaka Station in 70 minutes, and the cost of travel is about ¥1190 yen ($14.60 AUD). Taxis into Osaka are expensive and may cost more than ¥20,000 yen ($245 AUD).

Things to do in Osaka
Learn about the traditional art of ukiyo-e print at Kamigata Ukiyoe Museum. The museum showcases how the ukiyo-e prints are made using blocks of wood, and gives an in-depth insight into the history of this unique art form. For unbelievable views of the city, head to the 39th storey of the Umeda Sky Building. The building towers over Osaka at 173 metres tall. The Garden Observatory located on the 39th storey is home to the famous floating garden that is filled with local flowers and plants.
