There are no scheduled buses and trains to and from Broome Airport.

However, most of the hotels and resorts in the area offer private transfers to their guests.

If your accommodation doesn't have this service, you can take a metered taxi to the airport. You'll need to call ahead to arrange the time and place of your pick-up. 

Parking at Broome Airport

Broome Airport has one parking lot available for long and short-term stays. Rates start at AUD 15 per day, and you'll need to purchase a permit from one of the following locations.

Administration Office: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Customer Service Desk by the Departure Terminal: Monday to Friday from 5:00 p.m. to late as well as weekends and public holidays.

Arriving at Melbourne Airport

Getting from Melbourne Airport to Your Hotel

Take the Skybus City Express. It's a 24-hour service that runs between the airport and Melbourne's CBD. A one-way trip costs AUD 19, and it's one of the best ways to get into town if you're arriving on a red-eye flight.

Grab a taxi or use a ride-sharing service like Uber. The cab drivers will be waiting outside of the terminal, and a trip into Melbourne costs between AUD 56-62. If you've requested a ride, you can meet your driver at the closest pickup zone.

Hire a car. There are several car rental desks inside the arrival hall that have options for every kind of traveller and budget.

Other transport options include using a private transfer or one of the regional bus services.

Things to Do in Melbourne

  • Visit the Melbourne sports stadium. It's considered one of the best in the world and has played host to the 1956 Olympic Games and 2006 Commonwealth Games. It's also the birthplace of test cricket and visitors can take a 75-minute tour of the greatest moments in sporting history.
  • Spend an afternoon at the National Gallery of Victoria. It's the oldest public art gallery in the country and holds more than 70,000 works of art.
