Mackay Airport (MKY) is five kilometres from the city centre. Taxis are the most popular method of transfer and the rank is located just outside the terminal exit. The newest addition to the airport transfer line is bus route 303. This bus runs from Mackay Airport to the CBD 11 times a day during the week and four times a day on the weekends.
