Neighbourhood Overview

Central

Central is the business and financial hub of Hong Kong. Based on the northern end of Hong Kong Island, the neighbourhood is made up of shiny skyscrapers and modern architecture. Public Transport and How to Get Around When Travelling on Flights to Hong Kong

With trains, buses, trams, and ferries, you’ll have no trouble getting around when you book cheap flights to Hong Kong. The city’s train system is referred to as the MTR and is made up of 10 lines. The city’s tramways cover the northern side of Hong Kong Island and make up one of the oldest modes of transportation in Hong Kong. Ferries are available to visitors with an airfare to Hong Kong, travelling between the Kowloon Peninsula and the Central neighbourhood on Hong Kong Island. Single-ride tickets are available for each form of public transport. Once you arrive into Hong Kong International Airport (HKG), you can reach the city centre in less than 25 minutes on the Airport Express. The train from the airport makes five stops, terminating at Hong Kong Station.
