Things to do in Bali
Private Ubud and Volcano Day Trip
If you do not have a lot of time to spend on the island and are feeling overwhelmed by the many choices the island has to offer, then you can opt for a private tour. You can change the itinerary to your liking and be transported in an air-conditioned vehicle to and from your hotel. Kintamani Volcano and Ubud are the top 2 must-see destinations in Bali. In one day, you will get to see the exotic nature and culture that only Bali can provide. You can see a volcano, encounter mischievous monkeys and participate in a silver-smithing workshop - all in the same day. You will have plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures with a guide that will answer all of your questions and will be focused on you and your needs.
Waterbom water park
People traveling with their families always have the option of visiting Asia’s number 1 water park – as rated by TripAdvisor. It is located in the city of Kuta, just southwest of Bali’s capital Denpasar. Because the government wanted to preserve the environment and endangered species, up to 50% of the lands in the park remain natural and untouched. It is home to the world’s largest slide - The Constrictor. Beyond the many slides, and the “lazy river” in the park, there is a system of gardens made with the specific intent of showcasing all the natural beauty of Bali.
There are various dining options in the park including options for the health-conscious visitors as well. The waterpark itself spans some 3.8 hectares of land and was made with the intent to give an unforgettable experience to all of its visitors – from thrill seekers to families, everyone is welcome.
Ubud Monkey Forest
The mystical forests of Bali have many natural sights worthy of your time, but one stands out more than the other and that’s the Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud. This sanctuary is home to a few hundred long-tailed Monkeys native to Bali. While they are adorable, these cheeky monkeys do like shiny things, and aren’t afraid of swiping a pair of sunglasses or something else. Besides the calming lush greenery of the forest, you can also visit any of the 3 mystical Hindu temples located in the forest.
Bali Food Safari Tour
To satisfy your inner foodie, you can always opt out for a sophisticated dining experience in the resort city of Seminyak. It is home to luxury hotels and all manner of food. You will be driven from location to location in a personalized dining experience. These tours are usually done in groups of 10 or fewer. Your personal foodie guide will lead you down a 12-course dining adventure. It is a mystery tour so the restaurants can change day-to-day. Once all is said and done your driver will even drop you off back at your hotel.
