A trip from the city centre will cost around $35 AUD and take 20 minute depending on the traffic.

Another budget-friendly option is the 380 Airporter bus. It departs the airport every 15 to 20 minutes and collects passengers from domestic and international terminals. If you miss the Airporter, you can also take the local bus into Auckland. Route 31 runs every day between 7am and 7pm with departures every 15 minutes. If you're travelling in a group or you have too many bags for public transportation, you'll find the taxi ranks outside the arrivals hall. Fares cost around $38 to $75 NZD ($35 to $66 AUD), and you'll have to pay an $5 NZD ($4.74 AUD) pick up surcharge.
