Events and Festivals

Adelaide Fringe is the party that defines this city! It is the largest open-access festival in the Southern Hemisphere. For 31 magical summer days and nights, Fringe transforms Adelaide and greater South Australia. The festival stretches from up in Whyalla all the way down to Mount Gambier, so whether you’re a cabaret connoisseur, comedy king or queen, theatre tragic or just want to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere, there’s something for you at Adelaide Fringe.

The Adelaide Festival is an iconic Australian arts festival that runs for over two weeks in February and March. It is internationally recognised as Australia's pre-eminent arts festival. The program traverses a cross-section of music, theatre, dance, literature and visual art from artists of diverse backgrounds and cultures.

WOMADdelaide 2021 will take place at King Rodney Park/Ityamai-itpina, the event will include 4 sunset concerts, one stage, no clashes including Sarah Blasko, Archie Roach, Midnight Oil and The Teskey Brothers to name a few. This is a chance to re-connect, re-engage and celebrate together.
