Classes of Travel

First Class

Travelling First Class means always being able to expect the exceptional with Lufthansa. The First Class of Lufthansa provides passengers with a harmonious travel experience at a consistently high level on the ground and on board. Business Class

A completely new flight sensation, the new Lufthansa Business Class brings more comfort for business travellers. Flexible check-in, preferential baggage service, relaxing in spacious lounges and totally redesigned cabins on board; Lufthansa Business Class gives passengers a consistently excellent experience. The star on board is the new seat. It provides an impressive level of comfort and enables passengers to lie fully flat on its 1.98 m length. Currently available on the Boeing 747-800 from Hong Kong and progressively getting rolled out on the entire long-haul fleet.

Economy Class

Travelling in Lufthansa Economy Class is a new experience on long-haul flights. A better entertainment program, better service and more comfort. The new concept of Economy Class makes the Lufthansa flight a new experience for every passenger. From check-in, to boarding, to relaxing in the new economy seats and enjoying the entertainment program, tasty meals and good service making it a satisfying stay on board.

More than 90% of all Lufthansa long-haul aircraft already have Lufthansa FlyNet®, the first on-board broadband Internet service. This makes Lufthansa the airline with the world's largest Internet-enabled intercontinental fleet.

Passengers can enjoy the full communications freedom of the Internet on almost the entire Lufthansa global long-haul network. The sole exceptions are flights over China — the system automatically switches off on entering Chinese airspace and switches on again when leaving it.
