Bangkok Airways

History

Bangkok Airways was established in 1968 as a private company providing regular charter services to a number of organisations operating in the oil and natural gas industy. Thanks to the Thailan'ds booming tourism industry the  airlines network has rapidly grown to include more flight routes to major destinations in Asia. The airline views its transportation services  as a major cotnributor to Thailand's economic growth and the country's ability to host millions of visitors each year.

1. Boutique Lounges

All passengers of Bangkok Airways are given access to the airlines boutique lounges, where guests can relax at no additional cost before they board their flight. Guests can enjoy the variety of free snacks and hot or cold beverages and surf the internet uisng the complimentary internet access. Parents can also bring their children to the kid's corner located in the lounge with plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained.

2. Blue Ribbon Club Lounges

Passengers flying with Bankok Airways' business class or Blue Ribbon Club members can access the Blue Ribbon Club Lounges, offering a more presonalised service, complete with hot meals and more privacy. The lounge is further fitted with shower rooms, a massage parlour and meeting rooms and a library room.

3. Boutique Airport

Along with the flight services, Bangkok Airways also operates three boutique airports in three of Thailands popular provinces: Samui, Sukhothai and Trat. The architectural design of each airport incorporates design elements of its natural surroundings, making each airport a distinctive travel hub.

4. Appetizing Menu

Bangkok Airways prides itself on their in-flight meals, serving a full-course meals on their flights. The airline also caters to guests with special dietary requirements, including vegetarian and Halal meals.

6. New Aircrafts

Bangkok Airways maintains a very modern and colourfully decorated fleet, with every aircraft retired and replaced after 5 years to ensure maximum safety standards are met.
