How do I pay with Pay by Bank?
After selecting your eligible flight, accommodation, holiday package, or gift card, proceed to the cart. To complete your booking using Pay by Bank, follow these steps in the new pop-up payment browser:
- Enter your PayID details. This can be a phone number or email address.
- You will be sent a One-Time-Passcode (OTP) to the nominated mobile number or email address to verify your details.
- Authorise PayTo agreement. Login to your online banking or mobile app and authorise the PayTo agreement by searching for "agreement in your banking app".
If you don't have a PayID follow these steps:
- Pay to Webjet PayID email. Click 'Pay to our PayID' and use the PayID email address provided to you.
- Pay in your banking app. Login to your banking or mobile banking app, select Pay Anyone option, and click PayID email address to complete your payment.
What can I use Pay by Bank for?
Pay by Bank can be used for bookings including flights, select accommodation, holiday packages, gift cards, and insurance booked as part of an eligible booking.
Pay by Bank cannot be redeemed on hotels, where payment is made at the hotel or listed as ‘Pay Later’ on site, Webjet bookings containing ‘Things to Do’ bookings, car hire, or travel insurance purchased separately via insurance.webjet.com.au.
What if I don't have a PayID?
No PayID? No worries! If you don't have your own PayID, you can still use Pay by Bank for your payment. Simply use the Webjet PayID email address provided at checkout and safely pay in your mobile banking app using the Pay anyone > PayID email address option.
Is Pay by Bank safe?
Yes. PayID is accessible within the online banking of participating banks, credit unions and building societies. This means the same level of security that protects your existing bank account payments will also protect payments made using a PayID.
Are there payment fees to use Pay by Bank?
No, there are no Webjet Payment Fees when you checkout with Pay by Bank at Webjet.
Webjet Booking Fees will apply, and is payabvle once per booking as shown during the booking process, and again on the checkout page.
How do I find a payment agreement in my banking app?
Login to your mobile banking app or internet banking. You can easily search ‘agreement’ to authorise your payment. You can view Webjet’s details and the amount before authorising the agreement and completing your payment.
Is Pay by Bank available in Webjet New Zealand?
No, Pay by Bank is currently only available at webjet.com.au.
