With the flair that we all have come to associate with any enterprise carrying the Virgin label, Virgin Blue’s members’ lounge is not just any old lounge, but “The Lounge”.
The Lounge by Virgin Blue – everything you need for business
Passengers can enjoy The Lounge’s all-inclusive facilities for a membership fee or on a casual fee basis. Aimed primarily at the business market, The Lounge offers business facilities, Wi-Fi access throughout, a relaxing environment and other essentials for the regular travellers such as great coffee, premium teas, gourmet snacks and fresh menu items available throughout the day. A selection of beer and wines are available after 11.00am. Check-in facilities are also available in The Lounge for guests travelling without checked baggage.

Virgin Blue airport lounges available in many cities
Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Canberra all boast their own Lounges. Members simply present their Lounge membership card, together with flight itinerary or boarding pass for onward travel with Virgin Blue on the day. Members of the Velocity program, upon joining The Lounge, will not be issued with a Membership Card, but their Velocity Membership Card will be activated to allow access.
Virgin Blue welcomes non-lounge members too!
Non-members may still use the facilities subject to space availability for a casual entry fee of $35 (inc. GST), on presentation of a valid Virgin Blue itinerary or boarding pass for onward travel on the day.
All members of The Lounge may invite one Guest, who need not be travelling, to accompany them to The Lounge, subject to space being available.
