Virgin Australia Lounge Facilities and Features
After an extensive refurbishment of Melbourne and Brisbane and the addition of valet parking/express security entry for premium guests in Sydney, Virgin Australia Lounges are better than ever. The lounges are open seven days a week; opening 45 minutes before the first departure and closing after the last flight has called for boarding.
Everything you need
A Virgin Australia Lounge provides a well designed environment conducive to relaxation, working or just freshening up, not to mention the essentials for the regular traveller such as Wifi, great coffee, premium teas, gourmet snacks and fresh menu items available throughout the day. A selection of beer and wines is offered after 11.00am and check-in facilities are available for guests travelling without checked luggage.
Good for Business - Virgin Blue Lounge
Virgin Australia Lounges are open to Members travelling with Virgin Australia or a partner/codeshare airline, on the day of travel. A member can also invite a guest who does not need to be travelling, subject to space being available. Velocity Reward Members can purchase a single-entry pass (subject to space), for a small fee payable at the time or pre-purchased online. Complimentary access is offered to Velocity Gold, First, Business and Premium Economy Class passengers. Virgin Gold card holders are invited to use the lounges for free.
Lounging around Australia
Virgin Australia Lounges are available in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra and Perth. Lounges in Gold Coast and Mackay will be open for service by the end of 2011.
