Qantas Flights to LA on Airbus A380 Superjumbo!
Beginning in October 2008, Qantas will fly passengers on selected flights to Los Angeles from Sydney and Melbourne on their new A380 super jumbo. The A380 flying to Los Angeles isconfigured with a new cabin layout consisting of 14 First Class Suites, 72 Business Class Skybed Seats, 32 Premium Economy Seats and 332 Economy Seats.

Qantas A380 Flights from Sydney to Singapore & London
Selected flights from Sydney to Singapore and London will be serviced by the new Qantas A380 from early 2009. The new Qantas A380's improved fuel efficency means the aircraft uses 10% less fuel and produces less carbon emmissions per revenue tonne kilometre than some of today's largest jets.
Passengers on board the Qantas A380 experience an almost silent cabin in flight and for those on land, the experience is just as exciting. The A380 produces half the take-off noise of other large aircraft.

Qantas A380 - First Class Suites
A380 First Suites are designed for ultimate comfort and style. Designed by Marc Newson the suites feature spacious armchairs with soft leather armrests that conveniently convert into a fully flat bed at night for ultimate relaxation.
A380 First Suite Entertainment
The advanced entertainment system not only includes a 17" Panasonic touchscreen display but also gives you the choice of more than 1000 audio and video channels and on-demand video options.The A380 First Suite controller also allows passengers to alter their seat positon, dim the suite's lighting, and raise or lower their window shades.
Stay connected with everything you need including USB and internet ports (with wireless access also available) that allow you to connect to the onboard Internet and webmail system. The 110V AC power outlet will ensure your laptop is always ready for work.
A380 - Fully Flat Bed
When you're ready to rest, the armchair in the A380 First Suite converts to a fully flat bed that measures a comfortable 212cm long and 73cm wide. Use the Suite controller to alter the recline angle or lumber support and even try the 5-zone massage system for total relaxation.
Qantas A380 Economy Class Cabin
The Qantas A380 boasts an enormous 332 Economy Class seats, configured in a three-four-three layout. Each Qantas A380 Economy Class seat has been redesigned with a unique carbon fibre seat back with a literature pocket, water bottle holder, and enhanced shin and knee clearance with a unique nest foot rest for extra leg room and comfort.
Entertainment on Qantas A380 Economy Class
Each seat has its own personal entertainment system. Concealed in the seat's armrest is an Entertainment Controller, PC power and RJ45 and USB ports. A personal 10.6" Panasonic wide touchscreen video monitor allows passengers to enjoy many options including movies, television programs, audio channels and PC-style games.
