Does Jetstar offer Airport Lounge Facilities?
Yes… provided there’s a Qantas Club at your airport… and that you’re a Qantas Club Member. Qantas Club lounges are also open to all Jetstar StarClass passengers and Chairman’s Lounge Members.
Invite a Guest to the Qantas Club
Members are welcome to invite guests in line with the usual entitlements. Economy class passengers travelling with Jetstar (JQ) with a valid Qantas Club Membership or Qantas Frequent Flyer Gold or Platinum status, also have access to the Qantas Club, wherever there is one available at the airport from which they are departing.

Passengers travelling on Intra-Asia flights operated by Jetstar Asia (3K) or Valuair (VF) do not have access to the Qantas Clubs.
Earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points
Qantas Frequent Flyer members are able to earn points and Status Credits on JetFlex fares (the flexible fares) only. However, Qantas Club privileges such as priority baggage do not apply when flying Jetstar.
Preference to Early Bird Passengers and Business Fares
The priority seating system rewards both early birds and gives preference to the higher fare paying passengers. Jetstar buys frequent flyer points from its parent, Qantas, for business travellers who pay the highest unrestricted fares.
Jetstar StarClass flyers earn more!
Qantas Frequent Flyers travelling on a Jetstar (JQ) JetFlex or StarClass fare will earn equivalent points per mile and Status Credits as earned on Qantas flights. JetFlex fares earn at the full economy level. StarClass fares earn at the full business level.
Jetstar operates independently of its parent Qantas, however, the cooperative synergies between the two airlines are of huge benefit to frequent flyers and business passengers.
