Webjet Launches Mix and Match Travel Insurance for Trip Protection and Luggage Protection

Webjet today announced the launch of a new integrated travel insurance product which enables Webjet customers to include trip protection and/or luggage protection cover as part of their Webjet domestic (and trans-Tasman) bookings.

"In addition to the ease and convenience of being able to book travel insurance online as part of your overall travel reservation, our latest Webjet ETC (Essential Travel Cover) insurance options provide flexible options for trip protection and personal luggage cover.

The price of trip protection insurance depends on the cost of your booking, and can be as low as $3.20 for a $200 itinerary. Luggage protection cover is also flexibly priced, starting at $6 for up to $500 cover, with further cover available to a maximum of $3,000.

Our flexible pricing approach for domestic travel insurance means that our trip protection cover is automatically calculated according to the value of your Webjet itinerary, including all flights, cars, hotels booked together. Similarly, the price of our luggage protection insurance is determined by the luggage value you wish to cover.

By simply ticking a box, customers who do not wish to take out Comprehensive Cover can, instead, choose to purchase one or both of these options. These options enable customers to only pay for the cover they want. This flexible pricing approach for trip and luggage protection makes these latest travel insurance offers unique in this market.
