Webjet Launches Insurance ETC

Webjet today announced the launch of Webjet Essential Travel Cover (ETC).
Webjet ETC will initially provide Webjet customers with yearly multi-trip travel insurance cover for less than $1 per day, covering both domestic and international trips.
Commenting Webjet Marketing Manager, Dean Maidment, said:
After extensive research of our customers and looking at numerous competitor travel policies, we designed Webjet ETC so that it contains the components our customers see as essential in a travel insurance policy and at a price that is amongst the most competitive of its kind in the market.
Our initial launch product provides yearly multi-trip cover for around the same price as many single trip policies. Over the next couple of months we will dramatically expand our travel insurance offering to cover single trip policies, as well as a series of other policies that are unique to this market.
Travel insurance can often be unnecessarily complex and expensive. Webjet ETC will provide a series of simple and flexible alternatives designed specifically around what our customers want.
Webjet ETC will launch at a special introductory price of $299 until 30 June, at which time it will revert to its regular discount price of $349.
Webjet ETC is arranged and managed by ETI Australia Pty Ltd trading as Mondial Assistance and is issued and underwritten by Allianz Australia Insurance Limited.
