Webjet Confirms March Sales

Webjet today confirmed March gross transaction values of $1.75 million, midway in the range of $1.7m to $1.8m foreshadowed in market advice 25th March 2003.
Commenting, Webjet's Managing Director, David Clarke, said, "In an overall industry which is currently reporting a negative impact on turnover of some 20% to 30%, we have managed to slightly increase March turnover from last year's $1.7m.
"While it is too early to form accurate forecasts for April, it appears likely that April will slightly better last year's figures. We are currently achieving these levels on a sharply reduced advertising spend."
