22nd February 2006

Webjet today announced the promotion of Richard Noon, currently CFO and Company Secretary to the position of Chief Operating Officer and also announced that it has extended its current service agreement with its Operations Director, John Lemish, through to March 2009.

Commenting, Webjet's Managing Director, David Clarke, said: "as Webjet's growth has continued, it is now important to ensure that the internal management structure is arranged in a manner consistent with our ongoing business management and parallel strategic requirements. Richard will initially continue to combine his CFO responsibilities with those of his new position of Chief Operating Officer and will now commit full time resources to the ongoing success of Webjet.

As COO/CFO Richard will continue to report to me in my capacity as Managing Director and will assume direct responsibility for all management executives.

We are also delighted we have been able to agree mutually acceptable terms for the extension of the current service agreement for John Lemish, Operations Director, which was otherwise scheduled to end on 31 March 2007. The agreement has been extended for a further two years to 31 March 2009 and provides for appropriate continuity of operational expertise which has been a large component of Webjet's success over the last few years.

As a long time colleague and founding partner in the business, the continuity of knowledge and service will, I have no doubt, be a key component in Webjet's ongoing development.

This will enable us to provide for likely development opportunities with the appropriate balance between corporate and strategic issues and the day to day implementation of our business plans. We are in a unique position where our total management team has essentially worked together in various forms since inception and has as a result strong cohesion and philosophy."

Appropriate details will be set out in the company's Annual Report.
